Day 2: Arrival in County Dublin- Tuesday May 6th

You will be met at Dublin airport on arrival and transferred to your hotel
​Welcome dinner that evening at your Dublin hotel.
Meet your Tour Director and the rest of your group

Day 3: Sightseeing tour of Boyne Valley- Wednesday May 7th
Visit the famous Bru na Boinne World Heritage site.
Includes a visit to Newgrange (older than the pyramids, older than Stonehenge).
Fascinating walking tour of the historic gated town of Drogheda. See the fantastic Laurence's Gate, visit the place where the submarine was invented and marvel at the head of Oliver Plunkett!

Traditional Irish musicians will have your toes tapping and your heart singing.

Day 4: Visit to Belvedere House and Drumshambo Distillery - Thursday May 8th
​Visit the stunning Belvedere House & gardens and hear the fascinating story of it's famous Jealous Wall.

Visit the famous ‘Drumshambo Shed Distillery’.
A fully guided experience including an expert tasting of Drumshambo Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey. Finish with a refreshing Drumshambo Gunpowder Irish Gin and tonic at the Honey Badger Bar in a majestic botanical glasshouse.
Continue on to Donegal to check in to your hotel.

Day 7: Achill Island & Traditional Irish Music Night - Sunday May 11th
Journey to the beautiful Achill Island. A location for the Irish film ‘The Banshees of Inisherin’
Visit Grace O'Malley Tower, the home of the pirate queen which was built in 1429. Lots of photo stops to take in the amazing views along the way.
Back in Sligo, our group will be treated to a ‘traditional Irish music night’ this evening

Day 8: Strokestown National Famine Museum, River Shannon & Seáns Bar- Monday May 12th

At Strokestown National Famine Museum you will be guided through an interactive and compelling museum. It will take you back in time to one of the darkest periods of Irish history. You'll leave understanding and appreciating the resilience of the Irish people. Join us in exploring this hidden gem!
Check in to your Athlone hotel, along the banks of the famous River Shannon.
Enjoy drinks at Seáns Bar - Ireland's Oldest Bar. Pure Irish authentic pub. Group farewell at ‘Sean’s Bar’ Included meals:
